Ripe pear, crunchy peanut butter. Snack sorted.
Fresh pear slices with natural peanut butter and a pinch of sea salt. A two-minute snack that balances fibre, healthy fats and protein for steady energy.
Quarter a 180g pear lengthways, cut out the core with a small knife and slice each quarter into 3 long wedges. Leave the skin on for fibre and crunch. Prepping ahead? Toss the wedges with a drop of lemon juice to stop them browning.
Spoon 16g (about 1 tablespoon) smooth peanut butter into a small ramekin so the wedges have somewhere to land. If the peanut butter is fridge-cold and stiff, loosen it with a teaspoon of warm water until it's dippable. Serve straight away. Finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt to lift the sweetness.
