Oats, apple, cinnamon and yoghurt — soaked overnight, ready in the morning.
Creamy overnight oats with grated apple, cinnamon and yoghurt. High-fibre, no-cook breakfast that sets in the fridge and travels brilliantly for busy mornings.
Tip 50g rolled oats, 12g chia and a generous pinch of ground cinnamon into a 350ml jar or container. Coarsely grate 150g unpeeled apple straight in (the skin keeps fibre and colour), then pour over 185ml milk and spoon in 80g Greek yoghurt.
Stir hard for 20 seconds with a long spoon so the chia doesn't clump on the bottom and the cinnamon streaks through evenly. Lid on, into the fridge for at least 6 hours — overnight is better. The oats and chia drink the milk and set to a thick pudding.
Give it one more stir to loosen — it'll be much thicker than last night. Too stiff? Splash in another tablespoon of cold milk. Eat straight from the jar; top with extra grated apple or a dusting more cinnamon if you want. Finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt to lift the sweetness.
